The Bureau of Internal Revenue runs two online filing systems: eFPS for enrolled large taxpayers and eBIRForms for everyone else. Both accept PDF attachments for supporting schedules, audited financial statements, official receipts, and proofs of payment. The attachment limit for most forms sits around 2MB per file, which is the same cap as SEC eFAST.
The rejection pattern is familiar: an ITR supporting schedule or audited FS attachment comes out of the scanner at 8–15MB and the portal refuses it. Since BIR only needs a readable PDF, image compression almost always fixes it.
